After the launch of OnePlus’ hyped mobile phone, ASUS presented a Gaming-Beast ROG Phone 3 with so many features. At a Live virtual event, the company launched this successor to ROG Phone 2. If you are serious about gaming then this is the Mobile phone you should consider.

The first Mobile packed with Snapdragon 865+ processor, 144Hz HDR 10+ Display and 6,000mAh battery.

ASUS ROG Phone 3 is more than a great phone for normal day to day usage, like browsing, calling, web surfing and texting. But it is in the league where currently no other phones have the capability like this.


There is no doubt about the Snapdragon 865+ processor, overclocked up to 3.10GHz CPU speed, which is the latest and best processor available in the Android Mobile market. And 5G capability makes it future proof high-end smart gaming-phone.

For Gaming, it is built with Adreno 650 GPU with Kryo 585 Octa-core processor. This Beast comes with 8GB and 12 GB LPDDR5 RAM variants with 128 GB and 256 GB UFS 3.1 inbuilt ROM respectively.


ROG Phone 3 comes with 4 cameras. 3 on the rear side and 1 on the front. Main Camera is helmed by a 64MP (f/1.8) Sony IMX686 sensor, Second with 13MP (f/2.5) ultrawide and Third with 5MP Macro feature on board.

The camera can shoot video with 8K 30fps, 4K HDR with 60 & 30fps and supports slow-Mo videos up to 480fps in HD and also interestingly shoots video in 4K Time-lapse.

As the Phone mainly focused on Gaming, unexpectedly ASUS packed a 24MP selfie camera in the front.

– ASUS Rog Phone 3 has set a benchmark in its 6.59 inches HDR 10+ phone screen with its 144Hz refresh rate. This will be the new normal in the future flagship phones’ screen.

– To support high refresh rate and high-end processor with gaming, Rog Phone 3 comes with Massive 6,000 mAh battery. And to juice it up quickly, it comes with 30W fast charging support, around 75% in about 45 minutes.

– Gaming is the motto of this phone and to support the Audio and phone cooling while playing games, ASUS is bundling the AeroActive Cooler 3 with Rog Phone 3. So, gamers can now connect headphone with 3.5mm audio jack in it and the phone will have a lower temperature up to 4 degrees Celsius while playing the game.


– It will come with Google Stadia Gaming subscription when it launches.

– And not to forget its AirTrigger feature, a pressure sensitive touch sensors located on the edge of the phone that works as real controller triggers.

Asus has planned to release a few more accessories later this year to complement the ROG Phone 3

The ROG Strix XG16 is a 15.6-inch portable gaming monitor with an IPS panel and a 144Hz refresh rate.

The ROG Cetra RGB are in-ear gaming headphones with active noise cancellation and USB-C connectivity.

And the ROG Falchion is a wireless mechanical keyboard with a touch panel that can be customized. The keyboard will have 400 hours of battery life.

And some other accessories as includes the Strix XG16 portable display. The 15.6-inch panel is powered by the ROG Phone 3 (or a laptop) and has a 144Hz display for gaming on a bigger display while on the go. The ROG KUNAI 3 gamepad that essentially turns the phone into a Nintendo Switch.
